Multi-Level parking P4 at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
The P4 multi-level parking marks a significant step in the evolution of the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. This four-level infrastructure, which offers more than 2,800 parking spaces over 111,484 square meters, has been designed to improve accessibility, support the growth of the airport and streamline circulation at the site.
As the airport experience often begins upon arrival at the parking structures, we felt that this should be a warm, natural and welcoming experience. The integration of oversized architectural graphics, in continuity with the YUL branding, establishes a friendly visual language that humanizes the space and naturally directs users. This approach aims to immediately elevate the client experience, even before entering the terminal.
In close collaboration with the ADM teams, Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes and Lemay, Arium Design designed the pedestrian signage, defined the routes and monitored the work related to the implementation. Particular attention was paid to readability, to traffic security and to the cohesion with the airport environment.
The result is a bright, structured and welcoming parking space, which facilitates the users movements and improves operational efficiency for the entire site, while creating a positive impression for the thousands of travellers who pass through there every day.
