L’Octogone library
L’Octogone library is an iconic project in the city of Montreal, providing cultural, educational, and recreational spaces for its citizens. Designed to meet the needs of a diverse population, it features modern and inclusive facilities that promote learning, relaxation, and creativity.
This space reflects the city of Montreal’s commitment to innovative and accessible spaces, responding to the cultural and social aspirations of a dynamic community. The library embodies a vision where learning, imagination and sharing occupy a central place in community life.
In collaboration with Anne Carrier Architecture and Labonté Marcille’s consortium, ARIUM Design was assigned to design the signage and wayfinding program for the library’s interior and exterior spaces. This project is part of an integrated architectural design approach, aimed at providing a seamless and optimal user experience.
Inspired by speech bubbles, the concept is distinguished by its playful, dynamic, and functional character, in perfect harmony with the overall vision of the project and the architectural design.
