MEM – Centre de Mémoires montréalaises
The MEM – Centre de Mémoires Montréalaises located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in the cultural heart of Montreal. The new center offers experiential spaces dedicated to highlighting stories that define Montreal’s unique identity through culture and history. Located in a strategic location, this new site reinforces the MEM’s visibility surrounded by Montreal’s cultural ecosystem.
ARIUM Design was selected to contribute to the design of the exterior signage to facilitate orientation towards the main entrance of the Saint-Laurent boulevard. Our teams developed an innovative and creative digital strategy by integrating display solutions directly into the exterior of the building in using innovative LG transparent LED film. In using this technology, the visual connection between the museum exterior and interior provided an impactful platform of communication for the user experience.
In addition, the display of the programming through digital screens and signage elements have been designed to accompany visitors throughout their journey. ARIUM Design played a key role in the process of obtaining permits from the City of Montreal, guaranteeing smooth integration and respecting municipal requirements. This project demonstrated ARIUM Design’s commitment to combining innovation and functionality to enrich the public’s experience.
