Terra Hill – Schroeder Ambulatory Centre

Located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is a renowned healthcare facility offering a wide array of ambulatory and outpatient care on several levels. Conceived by NORR and carried out in partnership with EllisDon, the project emphasizes intuitive and predictable wayfinding that facilitates the flow of patients, visitors and staff.

Arium developed a signage concept and an implementation strategy which takes into account the main routes and decision points. The objective was to create clear orientation cues while also promoting a harmonious integration into the built environment.

Inspired by the curved architecture of the building, the design uses the soft organic lines to establish continuity between reference markers and the spaces served by the wayfinding.
