City of Drummondville
Situated in the centre of Quebec, Drummondville is a rapidly evolving city known for its energy, quality of life, and the vibrancy of its urban centre, and driven by a population of 84,866 people. Arium has had the privilege of accompanying the city of Drummondville through many strategic projects, aiming to reinforce the territorial usability, to improve the user experience and to translate, through design, the distinct character of the city.
The firm has notably designed a master plan of wayfinding and signage at the municipal level, covering both interior and exterior spaces. Arium has also contributed to municipal digital signage and to the installation of signage in several municipal locations such as the library, the arenas, etc.
From a territorial marketing point of view, Arium has also developed an identity for the downtown area, inspired by the three main arteries. Each one has been assigned a unique colour in line with the diversity of its attractions, its uses and its businesses. This approach has resulted in a concept of urban furniture and integrated signage, designed to enhance the image of the site, help with orientation and promote citizens’ appropriation of the city centre.
