Marquee-style bus shelter for the Longueuil Transit Network

The development of this new marquee-style bus shelter is in response to the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) wanting to offer a compact and flexible solution, suitable for limited space constraints. The concept had to allow a polished integration of the signage, particularly of the bus numbers and schedules, while allowing the potential addition of solar panels and accented lighting depending on operational needs.

Arium Design accompanied the RTL throughout the design process. The team developed the concept and the modular components, prepared the integration visuals and offered technical support during the prototype stages. The monitoring of the work also guaranteed that the design goals materialized faithfully in the finished product.

The result is a contemporary and versatile bus shelter, designed to meet the functional, technical and aesthetic demands of an urban space. Its modularity and quality of finishes make it a sustainable solution that can adapt to a variety of sites within the territory of the Réseau de transport de Longueuil.
